Sweet Scones

 
 
 
Scones yang auntie buat beberapa hari yang lepas,Kepada yang gemar kan scones di sini
auntie letak kan recipe untuk kita berkongsi











Sweet Scones


2 cups S.R. Flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon brown sugar
Pinch nutmeg
3 tablespoon butter
1/4 chop date or raisins, sultanas or currants
3/4 cup milk


1) Prepare hot oven 240 deg,
2) Warm and grease scones tray
3) Sift flour and salt
4) Rub in butter with tips of fingers, add nutmeg and sugar,then mix in fruit.
5) Mix to a dough, with the milk-it should be a little firmer than plain scone dough.
6) Turn onto lightly floured board, knead lightly and pat out to 2cm thick.
7) Cut with knife neat sections,or floured scone cutter.
Pack close together on scone tray after glazing with milk.
Bake 10 minutes.

Cool on cake cooler covered with tea towel
